Murray is the Log Processor Excellence winner at the 2022 Top of The South Forestry Awards.
Having been in the industry for many years Murray has adapted to the introduction of mechanisation and technology well.
He technically processes every log to its maximum value with minimal wastage. Any QC check on his work see’s the log lengths 95% spot on.
His cut deck is well organised and he works in well with the fleeting machine and other skid users. Murray’s machine is always kept greased and maintained and in an immaculate condition too.
Described as a man of few words, Murray has been employed by logging contractors for over 30 years.
